60-90 minute in-home visit includes a comprehensive evaluation of feeding and/or pumping, breastfeeding and infant feeding support and education, assessments of mom and baby, a weighted feed, weight check, and answering any other questions or concerns. Follow ups are 30-60 minutes depending on needs.

This consultation takes place through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform from the comfort of your home. We can address issues such as feeding plans, concerns over mastitis or clogged ducts, milk supply questions, feeding evaluations, pumping, medication use while breastfeeding, issues with latch and pain while breastfeeding and more!

Prenatal lactation education is essential! Many new parents receive their first breastfeeding education bedside with their new babies when they are exhausted and can’t take in much new information.
Get a strong start with foundational knowledge for your breastfeeding success. Classes can be held in a 1:1 setting or small group setting prenatal lactation education class. We will cover all of the most essential information leaving you feeling confident and prepared as you look forward to feeding your baby for the first time. There will be time to address any questions that come up for you and your partner! -
Sliding Scale In-Person Clinic Consultations held at Secure Beginnings in Oak View, CA. Private 1:1 in person consultation for all of your breastfeeding/infant feeding needs.
Sliding scale pay accepted if you do not plan to use insurance to cover the cost of your appointment.

15 Minutes
Great for questions like medication safety for breastfeeding, weaning, engorgement, transitioning off nipple shield, plugged ducts, pumping schedule, etc. or short follow up questions that don’t require extensive evaluation or a whole new feeding plan.

5 hour continuous support in your home from Emma O'Brien RN, IBCLC. Receive hands-on holistic support and guidance over multiple feeds with your baby to build confidence, practice latch skills and positioning, and answer any questions you may have. This leaves time for infant care education, baby wearing education, pump flange sizing and guidance, and any other postpartum/feeding support you may be seeking. In this session, we ensure that you are fully confident in feeding and caring for your baby a so your success continues after the appointment is over!
