“I have worked with Emma at Honey Lactation twice now and she is the best!
First, early on in my nursing journey as I was looking for help navigating how to use my pump and milk storage advice and she was so helpful came to me which especially in those early days is really so nice, she was able to help me with sizing, tips for when to pump (if replacing a feed based on my baby's age), and storing tips as well!
The second time we worked with her we were struggling with our daughter taking the bottle as I had been exclusively nursing and around 4 months or so she started refusing the bottle. Emma met with us and gave us tips to familiarize our daughter with the bottle, exploring a few different nipple options but also lots of great tips and techniques to get her more comfortable with a bottle in general. After a few weeks of work and practice, connecting with Emma weekly, our daughter was so much more comfortable taking the bottle, it really was a transformation!
Emma is so kind and makes you feel so comfortable in what can be a very overwhelming stage of motherhood!”

“Emma was a complete life saver during the birth and postpartum experience of my third baby this past Spring. When my birth plan shifted unexpectedly, she guided me through each change with so much steadiness, clarity, and compassion. Her support helped me stay grounded and confident even when things felt uncertain.
What made the biggest difference, though, was the way she emphasized true rest and real self-care in those early weeks. With Emma’s presence, I felt fully supported, seen, and able to recover in a way I never had with my previous births. She offered practical help, emotional support, and a calming presence that made our home feel held.
Her guidance supported a positive breastfeeding experience and helped me manage the hormonal roller coaster of postpartum with more grace.

“Emma was pivotal and helping my new baby girl and I get back on track with breastfeeding. What can certainly feel like an overwhelming and emotional experience as a new mom, Emma is extremely nurturing, kind, and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to breastfeeding and newborns.
Baby girl and I had tried other lactation consultants as well as a hospital program after a bit of a weight scare and nothing felt as personal or helpful as Emma. She is truly gifted in this realm and I am so grateful to have met her! Thank you so much, Emma!”

“I am so grateful for the incredible support Emma provided when she came to my home a day after I returned from the hospital. I was a bit stressed about my milk supply after a few conversations with nurses at the hospital, but Emma immediately put me at ease. She brought so much expertise, encouragement, and practical guidance which helped me feel confident in my ability to breastfeed my baby.
She made herself readily available for all my questions and even followed up after our initial appointment to make sure everything was going well. Her kindness and knowledge made such a difference during a really vulnerable time. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better lactation consultant.
Highly recommend Emma to any new parent looking for support!”

““Emma’s care was the perfect pace and tone for our tender postpartum family. She met us where we were at, giving us exactly the information, confidence and peace of mind we needed to overcome our latch challenges and heal my body.
She stays abreast (pun intended) of the latest research and has a deep understanding of both the science and emotional landscape of breastfeeding. Her follow up care is generous and compassionate. Our family feels so supported and safe with Emma, we’re so lucky she’s here in our community!”
